It seems I have the lamest browser, and thus the wimpiest OS on my Imac, but that's just the way it's gonna be until I upgrade this sucker, which might occur soon, but then again...I can't put live links in, and I'm sure do numerous other nifty manuevers like Tod can, but what the hell.
Maybe I haven't gottne to these details because I AM VERY BUSY.
Clients are streaming in. I'm thrilled, yes, even jaded publicity hacks (I love being called a hack, or is it flack?) can be impressed and/or outright excited about certain clients who come their way.

Well, I recently finished working with Laurie R. King, who contacted me last December - she's very organized, that Laurie, about pitching in - ha ha - with Bay area help for her latest Mary Russell novel, Locked Rooms, which is set in early 1920s San Francisco. Laurie was looking for someone who would leave no stone unturned, had some great specific ideas for the local angle and ultimately became, in general, way up there in my top ten client pantheon. She is smart as hell and equally funny, and best of all, a real regular person who treats the help with respect and consideration. god knows I hope she's happy....
Now I am about to begin with Mary Guterson, the author of a very sharp and often hilarious novel called We are all fine here, to be pubbed in Feb by Berkley. It sure is strange to leave out that extra e...
Mary wants a jumpstart on her next work, and also to see if she can keep the love alive when this paper edition floats into stores, and sinks beneath the next round of New York's throw-em-against-the-wall-and-see-if-they-stick titles...Stay tuned.
