As any of you who follow the world of publishing already know, the company that owns (ed) Pages Magazine, AMS, has declared bankruptcy and is in the process of having its major asset, PGW - Publisher's Group West - liquidated or whatever it is they do to companies that have failed and have both assets and debts. Sadly, at least for me! it's over and while it's been a great run - a lot of fun and I've been able to interview and often meet many terrific authors - Ian Rankin, Margaret Yorke, Edward Falco and so on.
There's not much else to say. I'd love to continue writing crime fiction reviews and naturally, the loss of the regular income is one big ouch.
I'll post my final, never to be printed column in March when it's relevant to the books I talk about.
